If you’re like me, you’re probably pretty concerned about the recent rise in home prices. You work hard, you budget, you save, and yet it still feels like home ownership is out of reach. It’s a tough reality to live in, but I also understand the economics. We live in a highly desirable area with low taxes, a business friendly environment welcoming of innovation, and for 9 months out of the year, we’re the envy of the country in regards to weather. Theres your demand. If you combine that demand with the shortage of homes on the market (thanks to those who locked in sub 2.5% interest rates), you’re going to see prices rise. It is the simplest way to describe supply and demand. That said, developers are doing their part and we are seeing more homes being built in Southwest Florida. Thats a good thing. Take Bonita Springs’ newest community Solis Grande.
Tucked on the corner of Bonita Beach Rd and Bonita Grande (in between the RaceTrac and Fire Station), Pulte Homes is in the process of building a brand new townhome community. Featuring 118 townhomes, Solis Grande will be a gated community with CDD, smart home technology, and a 10 year limited structure warranty. Per the website, Solis Grande will feature two different models - Rowan and Alder. They range from 1,600-1,800 sq ft, 1 or 2 car garage, and start from $450,000.
Aside from the community and townhomes themselves, I think this might take the award for best location. As I mentioned, you are tucked in by the RaceTrac and Fire Station so you’ll go without safety and a late night bag of chips. You’re also less than a mile away from Publix and literally across the street from the future home of Midtown Bonita. This is an incredible location and good for Pulte for finding the land and making the investment.
